A Bijou Holiday Story – Scene 2

A Bijou Holiday Story – Scene 2

Picking up where we left off yesterday with Scene Two.

In an attempt to finalize her upcoming plan to sweep Balthazar off to Paris for the holidays, Guinevere decides to buy the tickets and get things rolling.

She’s already envisioning herself on the plane with champagne in hand.

And then in Paris lunching at a lovely bistro.

She can just imagine how scrumptious it will be to drink champagne and play chess with her sweet dog Beatrice….while wearing her favourite tulle skirts of course.
Before she can actually leave on a jet plane though, Guinevere hopes to pick up a few things to take with her.
A little shopping trip with her best friend Greta should do the trick.
Here she is.
Greta is a world class shopper and always has a list of the chicest must haves.
Guinevere is hoping that Greta can help her pick out:
1. some cute trinkets 2. a fabulous jacket 3. reading material for the plane.
After only a few moments at their favourite shops, Greta has already found…
 and these too.
{PS, these would make some great last minute gifts}
Guinevere loves all the pretty that Greta has already found and hopes that there shopping trip will end a little something like this.
She figures a few of these never hurt anyone.
Apres shopping, Guinevere plans on returning home to her sweet man with tickets in hand.
She knows he’ll be thrilled when he hears the news.
She’s sure he’ll feel the weight of the world come off his shoulders.
This trip will make him feel like the carefree little guy he used to be.
Guinevere decides to put one of her favourite dresses.
She’s not sure if she wants to go for pretty and soft with one of these.
Or sophisticated and chic with this little number she designed as part of her newest fall line.
Having considered for a moment, Guinevere that she wants to look alluring…she hopes this will help Mr. B want anything she has to say…like the trip to Paris.
She decides to go for this lace number she wore last year for her first fashion show.
Back then her hair was blonde.

With outfit decided, Guinevere telephones her favourite catering company and within minutes, her dining room is transformed into a chic table for two.
Guinevere heads to her dressing room to get ready.
It’s her favourite room in their LA house because it’s the only space she has decorated.
She can’t wait to inject more of her favourite colour pink into the new brownstone.
Guinevere puts on her black lacy dress and lets her mind drift to their upcoming trip.
She’s already picturing the view from her Paris hotel.
And the glorious ornate bed she’s hoping Balthazar will fill with mountains of chic presents.
{She took this shot of her friend Eulalia while they were in Italy last year}
In the end, Guinevere knows that together, she and her husband will have a very…
