22 Dec A Bijou Christmas Story - Scene One…and a Guest Post
In the rush to get everything done {the shopping, the cooking, the cleaning, the wrapping etc.} I thought we could all do with a little escape.
Here’s Scene One of a Bijou Christmas Story.
To begin, meet Balthazar.
Balthazar is currently married to Guinevere.
Mrs. B is a also a force to be reckoned with.
She has a fabulous shoe collection that is the envy of all of her friends and enemies alike.

Elspeth took this fabulous photo last year for a Christmas fashion campaign.
It’s pretty brilliant.
The two sisters are a most fabulous pair.

Guinevere is a fashion designer so she loves art that is fashion inspired.
Dallas Shaw is one of her favourites.
Balthazar also hopes to add to his ladies shoe collection.
This year, he’s buying these beauties for her…
but in this colour.
He thinks they look like the ruby slippers from the Wizard of Oz…only better because they’re pink.
And as for Balthazar, Guinevere has decided to surprise him with a trip to Paris.
She thinks there’s nothing like the city of lights at Christmas.
She also thinks spending the holidays with her sister would be most delightful.
Guinevere’s already imagining coffee and brioche at her favourite wintery spot.

And as for what happens next, you’ll have to stay tuned for Scene Two.
Coming soon!
….
And while you are waiting, be sure to head over to Amanda’s fabulous blog,

I’m posting my favourite holiday tradition today as part of her amazing series the 12 Traditions of Christmas.
Make sure you stay a while and read through everyone’s posts.
Plenty of holiday cheer.
And while you are there, have a browse through Amanda’s lovely blog.
Here’s a taste of what you’ll find.
Divine!
And with that very long post, I bid you farewell for now.
Until next time then!
xo
