Our lead designer’s second home was a century home that was brought to the rafters, before being completely re-designed from the ground up. A full-scale total gut renovation took place, with construction drawings produced to create a 1000 square foot addition and a functional layout throughout. Architectural elements were brought into the design, in an effort to add back the character that was not actually ever present in the old home. Each room was designed to make the most of smaller scaled spaces, with a variety of built-ins and storage solutions. Once built, decor and furniture selections were chosen to bring to life a modern farmhouse aesthetic that was bolder and more unexpected than that style would typically dictate.
