Option 1: Place recliner in conner
This must be the most simple solution to keep your recliner stay the same position forever. No need of buying additional objects, no need for effort, just push the recliner into the corner.
Option 2: Use a rug pad
Using rug pad solution is another easy solution. Putting the rug pad beneath the carpet increases the friction between the carpet and floor which can prevent the carpet from sliding on the floor.
However, it is important to notice that not all rug pads are the same. It depends on your floor type to choose which one is the most suitable. Many rug pads are made of PVC, which erodes over time and damages your hardwood floor.
Option 3: Use a furniture gripper
Cover gripping pad for the recliner legs will stop the recliner from moving on the carpet. This gripper is not permanent, however, it is quite cheap and easy to replace.
The gripper is commonly used to grip for legs of furniture, however, recliners sometimes do not sit on their legs but on a metal framework. In this case, you can add the gripper to four corners of the recliner, it can work effectively as the common way.
