How will oils change my life?
If I buy a Starter Kit, do I have to sell oils?
Absolutely NOT! When you join Young Living as a wholesale member, all you ever have to do is enjoy your oils and the community/resources that come with our tribe. BUT…if you are interested in learning more about the business opportunity that comes with YL, our community is here to help in any and every way we can.
Are there any costs or renewal fees to be a wholesale member?
In Canada, you can join Young Living as a wholesale member and enjoy 24% off without getting a starter kit. In the US, the premium starter kit must be purchased if you want to enjoy discounted pricing going forward. In both cases, a wholesale membership is FREE and there are ZERO annual renewal fees. The only requirement to stay an active member is to purchase at least 50V (approx. $50US/$65CDN,) of product in a calendar year. If your membership does go inactive, there is no fee to renew.
Why Young Living over other essential oil companies like DoTerra?
Young Living has been in business for over 25 years and has an amazing track record of quality. They vigorously test and regulates the production of their oils, with their seed to seal model and are the only company that manages and owns their own organic farms and partners. They also offer a much broader range of products than all others and have an unparalleled rewards program.
How can oils be used?
Essential Oils can be applied topically, ingested or diffused. Our tribe has a ton of information and ideas about how to use oils and when you join as a wholesale member, you will have access to all of these resources!
How long does the Starter Kit last?
If used regularly, a starter kit will last about 6 months. Because it gives you the absolute best value for the 11 foundation oils, I recommend re-stocking your kit when things start running out, rather than buying the oils individually. Because you also get a diffuser with the kit, it’s a great way to add to your collection so every room in your house is covered.
I want to join Young Living and get a starter kit, but not sure I want the oil one. Are there others?
Besides the essential oil kit, YL also offers 3 other kits: Thieves Household, Savvy Make-up and Ningxia Liquid Nutrition. If you’d prefer to ease your way into oils while also getting amazing products that will help you ditch the toxic things you’re used to using in your home, one of the other kits is a great way to begin your natural wellness journey.
I’ve heard a lot about Young Living’s ‘Thieves’ products. What are they?
Thieves® is a Young Living proprietary blend of clove, rosemary, cinnamon bark, lemon and eucalyptus radiata. Young Living uses Thieves in a number of their products for good reason, it not only offers amazing results, but this essential oil bend actually promotes greater wellness in the home as you use it. Products offered in this line are: oil, household cleaner, toothpaste, dish soap, hand soap, detergent, sanitizer, fruit/veggie spray and mouthwash.
What kinds of things can I make using my oils?
Essential Oils can be mixed together to make totally natural, plant based: roller bottle blends, perfumes, household cleaners, shampoos, moisturizers, and balms. If DIY isn’t your thing though, Young Living also offers a huge selection of skin care, make up, supplements, nutrition, baby products and pet goods.
What makes Savvy Makeup better than what I’m using currently?
If you haven’t scanned your current makeup with the Think Dirty app yet–do it. It’s so eye-opening and there is a better way! Savvy Minerals are free from: talc, lead, bismuth, mineral oil, lead, mercury, parabens, phthalates, petrochemicals, synthetic fragrances, and synthetic colorants. They are cruelty-free, gluten-free, and mostly vegan (the lipsticks and lip glosses have beeswax, so they are not considered vegan). Savvy Minerals by Young Living uses Arrowroot Powder and Kaolin Clay. Both are calming to the skin, help to absorb excess oil and moisture on the skin and make the skin feel silky smooth. This is important because most mineral makeup uses bismuth, which is a metal mineral that – when worked into the pores – aggravates the pores and causes irritation and breakouts. Savvy Minerals lasts all day when applied and comes in 4 colour/complexion based collections.
