If you follow me on Instagram, you’ve probably seen the recent onslaught of #projectgreenbay updates…my client just uploaded a bunch of progress shots to our joint dropbox account, so it’s happy days.
I thought I’d show you some closer shots of the home’s bathrooms and let you know what’s been happening in those.
First off, we have the eldest daughter’s ensuite, wallpapered in Ellie Cashman’s Rose Decay with custom cabinetry, a pretty fabulous marble/lucite sink…
…a vintage mirror my client purchased painted to match the ceiling and trim, a pair of Circa Lighting Callliope
and stunning chandelier that my homeowners had in storage…
Don’t you wish your storage bins had goodness like that? I sure as heck do.
This chandelier was actually our third fixture in this room and it was my clients who tried it out and sent me the photos…total perfection if you ask me. Sometimes you have to try a few things before landing on the best possible piece and well, that chandelier is the business in there..
Next, there’s the mainfloor formal powder room done in Farrow and Ball Pink Ground lacquer, with detail moulding, a marble mosaic floor, reproduction venetian mirror, another set of Calliopes (we’ve used them three times in this house…they’re that good) and perhaps the prettiest damn vanity of all time…
…and just wait until you see the other side of the room which will include floor to ceiling Pierre Frey Mauritius curtains panels and a giant black and white rather graphic piece of art…I might move into this room…totally my jam.
Next up, the little girls’ bathroom with pink cabinetry, spotty wallpaper and the sweetest little make-up storage area you ever did see…
I have to make sure to note that I actually didn’t select this paper, mirror or sconce…they were all selected before I came on the scene and let me just say, I wouldn’t change a single thing…obsessed with how the wallpaper plays against the pink and just you wait until you see the balloon blind/shower curtain loveliness that’s on its way…and though this technically is the girl’s bedroom, I just want to show you how well the two rooms play
…the custom gold benches we had made from Liven Up Design certainly don’t hurt the matter:)
Just down the hall from the girls’ bathrooms is the guest room/ensuite. For this space, we decided to pull in the Cole and Son Flamingo wallpaper black, white and grey colour scheme from the adjoining bedroom and highlight with walls painted in Farrow and Ball Calluna (lavender)…and because we really wanted to incorporate a beautiful mirror from Black Rooster that was just a touch too small for the space, we did a little mirror layered on mirror action…
…the frame around the wall to wall mirror will be painted black to match vanity and giant panels of Designer’s Guild Palmieri in charcoal will go on the windows. We’ll pull the lavender into the bedroom on those windows with some Dedar Funky Stripes and a little lilac velvet settee action will round out the room.
And last but not least (I don’t have photos of the master ensuite or kids’ powder so will update those next week,) there’s the son’s bathroom, which is probably my favourite…I’m just soooo in love with the Farrow and Ball Lulworth paint on the detail moulding and built ins…also very happy with how we played with mixed metals…
Brass against that blue just makes my heart skip a beat and you should see how it is making out with the Hague in the adjoining bedroom here…goodie goodie gum drops.
So there you have it…the bathroom progress at #projectgreenbay.
As for the rest of the house, now that painting and lighting is done, furniture selections are officially happening…it’s beauno times.
